The massive guillotine door creeks up to

greet us.

The rise is 10.75 metres -- @ 35 feet.

We are looking at the doors at the top of

the lock.

The guillotine is dropping to commence

the locking.

Julie & Michael visited for a week.

We travelled on the Canal du Centre

and cycled each day through the vineyards or along the cycle path.
